In this video we unbox the Akaso Brave 7 Action Camera’s waterproof case. The Akaso Brave 7 Action Camera’s operational temperature is -5 degrees Celsius to 45 degrees Celsius (23 degrees Fahrenheit to 113 degrees Fahrenheit). The camcorder videos seen on our YouTube channel are not intended to be teaching aids, they are simply demonstrations on using certain features of the camcorders discussed in our videos. Always backup your video recordings and photographs. Feel free to ask questions in our YouTube comments section we will answer all we can.
To change shooting modes on the Akaso Brave 7 (or Brave 7 LE) while it is sealed inside the waterproof case, start from the live preview screen with the camera powered on, then press and hold the Up button (or Mode button, depending on your exact variant) for about 3 seconds to access the mode selection; use short presses of the Up or Mode button to cycle through available options such as Video, Photo, Slow Motion, Time Lapse, Burst Photo, and others, confirming your choice with the Shutter button as needed, since the touchscreen is typically unresponsive underwater and the case’s external button actuators provide the primary controls.
Note that the camera does not record sound inside the case, and it is best to pre-configure key settings like resolution or diving mode before sealing it, as full menu navigation relies on these physical buttons for reliable operation during dives.
The user interface installed on your Akaso Brave 7 Action Camera may be slightly different than the Brave 7 seen in this video because the firmware installed on your camera may have been installed at an earlier or later assembly date. The soft version(firmware) installed on this camera is:
Brave 7_20231227_V3.2.6Supported card types: microSDXC
- Use U3
- Capacity up to 512GB (FAT32)
- Format the new card after you insert it in the camcorder. Remember formatting erases all data on the card. If you have ejected the microSDXC card and can not pull it out with your fingers, we recommend using a pair of ESD-34A tweezers. Be extremely careful when grasping the memory card with the tweezers.
