“Shifting” is when animals voluntarily move from one space to another and the African Rainforest primates frequently shift between habitats depending on the weather or to gain access to new enrichment. Last Wednesday was Mosi’s birthday, so the Eastern black-&-white colobus shifted right under the feet of guests to get access to birthday treats!
