The Roadless Rule, which protects our forests from privatization and development, is about to be repealed. In short, some of the last purely wild places in the United States are being auctioned off.

The Roadless Rule, which protected the Tongass National Forest from logging and road building, is being repealed. 58.5 million acres of habitat, lands that belong to all of us and the bears, foxes and ancient trees that fill it, now face destruction.
