Transcript: From Yellowstone’s grizzlies, to Big Cypress’ panthers, our National Park System protects the wild heart of America. The National Park System spans more than 400 iconic sites including lands and waters that define our natural heritage

But these special places, and the wildlife that rely on them, face growing challenges from habitat degradation to industrial development to funding shortfalls. And while thousands of native plant and animal species call our parks home, over 600 of those are listed as threatened or endangered.

That’s why Defenders of Wildlife is standing up
