Defenders: A Day In The Life – Restoring Swift Fox To The Great Plains

Venture into the Great Plains with Chamois Andersen, senior representative for Defenders’ Rockies & Plains program, to learn about swift fox recovery efforts. After losing 60% of their historic range, swift foxes are making a comeback with the recovery program led by the Assiniboine and Gros Ventre Tribes of Fort Belknap in collaboration with Defenders of Wildlife, Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute, Wyoming Game and Fish Department, and other partners.
