If Bison Went Extinct

If bison went extinct, the Great Plains ecosystem would lose a keystone species.

If bison went extinct, grassland birds and many plants would lose the critical habitat that the bison creates.

If bison went extinct, many tribes and Indigenous communities, like the Mosquito and Lean Man First Nations in Canada and the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes in Montana, would lose a relative.

So, let’s keep bison around and prevent their extinction.
