Greetings from Gorilla Grove! Join us for today’s #ZooToYou as we tour the new exhibit. Gorilla Grove is Franklin Park Zoo’s brand-new outdoor gorilla habitat. This immersive space features over 360,000 cubic feet for the gorilla troop to explore, including vines and trees for climbing, a cascading waterfall, and a multitude of built-in foraging opportunities for gorillas to discover throughout the day.

The Magpie Goose(Anseranas semipalmata) is a goose-like bird that is placed in its own family Anseranatidae. Unlike true geese Magpie Geese have partially webbed feet. The Magpie Goose lives in Australia.

There is a protuberance on the heads of Magpie Geese that is variable in size, but smaller in females.
