Irvine’s Regional Park’s 125th Anniversary

Irvine Regional Park in Orange celebrated its 125th anniversary in October of 2022. The Irvine family gifted the land that is now Irvine Regional Park to Orange County in 1897, creating California’s first regional park. The park now features trails, picnic areas, the OC Zoo, fishing, paddle boats, bike rentals and the Irvine Park Railroad.
