The Bongo(Tragelaphus eurycerus) Is an antelope species found in Africa. The Bongo is classified in the Mammalian order Artiodactyla, and family Bovidae.

Physical Characteristics

Bongos have brown coats with vertical white stripes. Both male and female Bongos have spiral horns but the males’ horns are longer. Bongos have long prehensile tongues that are useful for eating vegetation. The average weight of a Bongo is 230 kilograms(507 pounds); average shoulder height is 1.3 meters(4 feet 3 inches); average length is 2.6 meters(8 feet 6 inches).

Antelopes are hoofed mammals that are classified in the Mammalian order Artiodactyla, and most species of antelopes are classified in the family Bovidae; “true antelopes”, include only the genera Gazella, Nanger, Eudorcas, and Antilope. Some antelopes are closer related to cattle, goats, and sheep than to other antelopes. The Pronghorn(Antilocapra americana) is classified in the family Antilocapridae; this makes it the only antelope not classified in the family Bovidae. Male antelopes are often called bulls or rams, and female antelopes are sometimes called cows or ewes.

The Ring-Tailed Lemur(Lemur catta)  is classified in the Mammalian order Primates and family Lemuridae.

Physical Characteristics

A Ring-Tailed Lemur is grayish in color throughout much of its body, however its belly and torso are white. The nose and mouth area are black and there are black rings around the eyes. The color of the tail is made up of white and black rings.
