Falcon Release at OC Parks

In August of 2021, the Orange County Bird of Prey Center released two young peregrine falcons in OC Parks’ Irvine Ranch Open Space. Representatives from Sea & Sage Audubon Society and OC Parks staff were on hand for the releases. Peregrine falcons were once endangered, but the population is now thriving.
