Restoring Nature at the Lathrop Nature Preserve

We’ve wrapped up a transformative project in the heart of Ontario’s Niagara region — improving water quality, protecting forest and cold-water habitats for fish like brook trout, and making trails safer with a new pedestrian bridge, stabilized embankments and new trail signage.

The Lathrop Nature Preserve is now better equipped to thrive for generations to come thanks to the dedication of our partners, volunteers, and donors, including the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks, Niagara Community Foundation, TD Canada, and National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.

Before Robert was on the dance floor, he was in Far North Queensland on the incredible Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve for the Wildlife Warriors x Australia Zoo Crocodile Research Trip.
Started by Steve, the trip studies these modern day dinosaurs, uncoverthe secrets of their movements, diet, social structure, genetics and nesting behaviours.
It’s the most comprehensive study on crocodilians anywhere in the world, and the largest continuous telemetry study of any species EVER!
