Playing Pacific Parakeets
Three Pacific Parakeets (Psittacara strenuus) preening, allopreening, and playing during a siesta in the canopy, seen in the Pacific slope foothills of Guatemala. Pacific Parakeet is endemic to southern Mexico and northern Central America, but belongs to the complex of Green Parakeet (Psittacara holochlorus).
