This name was chosen by fourth grade Chicago learners in partnership with Chicago Public Schools (CPS) and Children First Fund (CFF), where classrooms across the city voted on a list of names. For Shedd, this winning name represents the balance of humans and animals living in harmony on our shared blue planet.
