Hi, I’m Kathleen Callaghy, northwest representative for Defenders of Wildlife.

Chinook Salmon and Southern Resident Orcas are two of the Pacific Northwest’s most beloved and culturally significant species.

Both are negatively impacted by the lower Snake River dams.

That’s why we, along with other conservation orgs and many tribal nations, are advocating to remove them.

In fact, just last week, the Salmon Orca Project, a collaboration among tribal nations, held a rally in D.C. to spread the message.

If you want to help, write to your senators and representatives and encourage them to support wildlife by removing the lower Snake River dams.
