Description: Avirtual presentation with Ryan Chenery, tour leader and author of Birds of the Lesser Antilles HELM Field Guide, who will discuss the special challenges faced by single-island endemic bird species. Of special note will be the Grenada Dove, one of Grenada’s two endemic birds, which is found in extremely low numbers in coastal dry thorn forests. Ryan will share the tumultuous story of the Grenada Dove. Species such as Imperial Parrot, Whistling Warbler, St. Lucia Oriole, the newly described St. Lucia Thrasher, Martinique Thrasher, and perhaps Barbuda Warbler will make an appearance!
