Restoring Nature at the Lathrop Nature Preserve

This YouTube video was produced by The Nature Conservancy of Canada.

We’ve wrapped up a transformative project in the heart of Ontario’s Niagara region — improving water quality, protecting forest and cold-water habitats for fish like brook trout, and making trails safer with a new pedestrian bridge, stabilized embankments and new trail signage.

The Lathrop Nature Preserve is now better equipped to thrive for generations to come thanks to the dedication of our partners, volunteers, and donors, including the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks, Niagara Community Foundation, TD Canada, and National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
