NCC’s Weston Family Conservation Science Fellow Zachary Moore completed a Master’s of Natural Resource Management at the University of Manitoba in 2024. His research focused on the impacts of habitat and range health on grassland songbirds in the Waterton Park Front, in southwestern Alberta. Results from his research impact decisions about how to secure, restore and manage land with cattle grazing to benefit grassland birds.
