In the heart of Zambia’s Luangwa Valley lies a grove of Ebony trees, home to a troop of baboons. It’s rich habitat – tall trees for roosting in, plenty of seeds and flowers to eat, and a creek that winds through the middle. Even so, there are dangers here – lions and hyenas are always on the lookout for a meal. Most dangerous of all is the resident leopard who, unlike the other predators, is powerful and agile enough to climb trees. He’s not an easy foe to elude.
