Announcing The L.A. Zoo Conservation Strategic Plan

For over 50 years, the Los Angeles Zoo has pursued its mission of creating lasting connections between people and nature, supporting biodiversity conservation, and halting extinction. But we now face extraordinary circumstances. Now, more than ever, we must focus and expand our efforts to protect species and habitats locally and around the world. As more species face the threat of extinction, and the health of our world degrades, the Zoo is launching a bold new Conservation Strategic Plan to expand our impact and cement our legacy of success in protecting wildlife and preserving the habitats we share. We do this by Integrating conservation into everything we do and connecting our community with nature. The time is now to act, to drive change and empower one another.
