Webinar – Paint Your Own Sea Otter

This paint night is for sea otter fans of all ages and skill levels! No previous painting experience is required. Follow along as local Alaskan artist Kari Becker teaches you step-by-step how to paint a sea otter. You will also learn about Defenders’ sea otter work from Alaska Representative Katy Nalven.

Supply List
1. Water container (fill before class starts)
2. Towel (paper or rags)
3. Paint pallet (paper plate or scrap cardboard is perfectly fine)
4. Canvas (~16×20 inch)
5. Paint pen or sharpie pen in black
6. Paint brushes: Extra large – 2½ inches Large – 1 to 1½ inches Medium – less than 1 inch Small – about the size of pencil Tiny – fine detail brush for whiskers
7. Hair blow dryer (or fan)
8. Paint colors (acrylic is best): Black White Blue (Phthalo if you want the exact shade) Green (Sap green if you want the exact shade) Tan Brown
