A #WorldRhinoDay meal fit for a king, eaten entirely by King. Black rhinos have suffered some of the most drastic population decline of any rhino species over the last 50 years. In 1970, it was estimated that there were 65,000 black rhinos roaming Africa. Today, it’s estimated that there are around 5,000. CZS and Brookfield Zoo are proud to work with the US Fish and Wildlife Service in their efforts to put an end to the smuggling of items made with rhino horns. Want to help rhinos survive? Don’t buy rhino horn products in any form, support rhino conservation organizations, and spread the word about the importance of protecting these magnificent animals.
